Dr Goh graduated from Manipal University in 2009 with multiple distinction honours and received the MMA gold medal for the best student in ENT. He had also obtained memberships from the Royal colleges of surgeons of Edinburgh and Ireland. He had completed his post-graduate medical speciality in the subject of Otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery from the University of Malaya. He has also completed a clinical attachment at Kyung Hee University, South Korea in the subject of sleep surgery and rhinology , a clinical attachment at Changi General Hospital (CGH), ,Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and Stanford University (USA) to further strengthen his understanding and competence in sleep medicine and surgery. Dr.Goh had started his service in early 2010 and had since served in multiple hospitals in Kuala Lumpur ,Selangor, Melaka and Johor states. He is currently practising as an Otorhinolaryngologist at the department of Otorhinolaryngology in the University of Malaya Medical centre and served as a clinical fellow at the department of Otorhinolaryngology at the subject of Sleep medicine and Surgery where he is trained as a Sleep and Robotic surgeon (DaVinci Xi) under the sponsorship of the Global Surgical Program (GSP), Singapore. Dr. Goh is currently the first Malaysian to be trained in the procedure of Hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy . Dr. Goh’s practice as a clinical lecturer include the management of PSG, CPAP/BiPAP manual/auto titration, Functional airway surgery, Intra-oral laser surgery and the diagnosis of sleep related disorders such as Sleep apnoea and the management of Obesity related to sleep apnea. He is currently spearheading the SNORE Team to cultivate the culture of research and clinical practice in Sleep Medicine at the University of Malaya. Dr.Goh has also received multiple awards including the best research paper for the MSOHNS annual scientific meeting. His research had also been funded by multiple research grants in the past. He has also published and reviewed numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals including randomized controlled trials and had also developed several patented medical devices and software for hospital management systems. Presently, he is the Singhealth Duke- NUS Global Surgery Program (GSP) scholarship recipient for Clinical fellows in year 2023 , the first Malaysian recipient for the subject of Sleep surgery and medicine.
