OSA is an increasingly common sleep-related breathing disorder. Worldwide, OSA prevalence is estimated to affect almost 1 billion people. Telemedicine is defined as the practice of medicine using electronic communications, information technology or other means between a licensee in one location and a patient in another location, with or without an intervening healthcare provide. Telemedicine offers significant flexibility in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with OSA.
