Sundari Ampikaipakan
Dr Sundari Ampikaipakan is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Joint Chief of Division, Medicine at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. She has a special interest in Airways disease, Sleep and Ventilation. She worked in Kuala Lumpur for 8 years prior to returning to the UK in 2019, just in time for the Covid-19 pandemic. Her work with the virtual ward evolved in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and she is the respiratory lead of the virtual ward. The Norfolk and Norwich university hospital was the first hospital in the UK to run a 24/7 virtual ward.
