Lem Li Khen

Dr Lem is a respiratory physician and internal medicine physician from Island Hospital, Penang. She graduated from UKM medical school in 2003 and received her training in master of internal medicine in UKM from 2008 to 2012. She joined fellowship in respiratory medicine in 2014, in which during her training period she also attached to Chulalongkorn University Bangkok for sleep medicine training. In January 2017, she started her practice as respiratory physician in Penang Island till now. Dr Lem is an active member of medical and respiratory societies including MTS, APSR, ERS and WABIP. She is the reviewer for Medical Journal of Malaysia and former assistant secretary and board member of Malaysian Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (MABIP). In 2022, she joined and presented in the international society of Women in International Pulmonology (WiIP). Besides sleep medicine and interventional pulmonology, her current field of interest also lies in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment.
