Prof. Liam Chong Kin specialises in Respiratory Medicine and practices in Universiti Malaya Medical Centre and UM Specialist Centre. He is widely acknowledged as one of the pioneers who helped to transform Respiratory Medicine into an important subspecialty in Malaysia. Prof. Liam is a keen researcher and a prolific author having published extensively in various scientific journals and proceedings of scientific meetings. His publications have been widely cited by other authors and presenters. He is among the world’s top 2% of the most-cited scientists in 2022 and 2023 according to Stanford University with 6,576 citations (up to 14 July 2024).
