Muhammad Redzwan S Rashid Ali Malaysia

Dr Muhammad Redzwan was educated and awarded the MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005. He has been practicing medicine in Sabah since 2006 and subsequently completed his MRCP(UK)(London) in 2010 while working in the Department of Medicine, Hospital Queen Elizabeth, Kota Kinabalu. He has been a practicing Physician in Internal Medicine since then and was accepted into the Fellowship of Respiratory Medicine(MOH) training from 2012-2015. He trained in Respiratory Medicine in Queen Elizabeth Hospital and also completed a 1 year overseas fellowship training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, Australia under the tutelage of Prof Gary CY Lee pleural clinical group; focusing mainly on pleural medicine(complicated pleural infection, thoracic ultrasound, advances in treatment of malignant pleural effusion and mesothelioma), interventional pulmonology, pulmonary physiology and sleep disorder. He served as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine in Respiratory Department, Hospital Queen Elizabeth, Kota Kinabalu and subsequently left to join the private service in 2016. He is currently based in KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital since 2016 as Consultant Physician and Pulmonologist. His main interest is in Interventional Pulmonology, thoracic oncology and pleural intervention techniques and procedures. He is the part of the pleural interest group under MTS.
