Wong Chee Kuan

Dr. Wong Chee Kuan graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2002 and began his career in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang. He obtained his MRCP (UK) in 2010 and completed his fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in 2016 at University Malaya. He is currently a consultant respiratory physician in University Malaya Medical Centre. His special area of interest includes tuberculosis and asthma.
Dr Wong Chee Kuan is a consultant respiratory physician from University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). He is the current head of respiratory unit in the department of medicine UMMC. He obtained his MRCP from United Kingdom in 2010 and completed his fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in 2016 at University Malaya and since then has become a lecturer, physician and researcher in UMMC.
He has conducted research in various conditions including Tuberculosis, COPD, respiratory viral infections, lung cancer among others. Dr Wong was the external reviewer of CPG on Management of Evali and was the advisor for the international COPD Expert meeting. Dr Wong has made significant contribution in various medical events, locally and internationally and has made media appearance to address various respiratory related issues to the public.
