Mohd Arif Mohd Zim

Dr Mohd Arif Mohd Zim completed his undergraduate study in Trinity College of Dublin and gained 3 years of working experience in Ireland. He obtained his Masters degree in Internal Medicine in 2010 and completed Respiratory subspecialty training in 2014. He was a Consultant Pulmonologist in Selayang Hospital, UiTM Medical Specialist Centre Sungai Buloh and Al-Sultan Abdullah Hospital UiTM Puncak Alam. He is credentialed to perform various procedures related to respiratory medicine. He is now a Consultant Pulmonologist, Damansara Specialist Hospital 2.

Dr. Arif previously held several roles at government and private hospitals including Associate Professor in Faculty of Medicine, Head of Respiratory Unit, as well as Head of Internal Medicine Department. He is the current secretary of the Malaysian Association of Bronchology and Pulmonology Malaysia (MABIP), member of the Malaysian Thoracic Society of Malaysia (MTS), Sleep Disorder Society of Malaysia (SDSM) and European Society of Respirology (ERS). An avid researcher, Dr. Arif has published several papers and co-authored various clinical practice guidelines (CPG) for the management of asthma.
